Hiring For Diversity: Oct/Nov Issue Of Echelon Magazine Released

The October/November issue of Echelon Magazine has been released.  The latest edition of this leading GLBT business publication focuses on Employee Resource Groups.  Turn to page 24 to read an article I wrote (Hiring For Diversity) on corporate efforts to attract and retain GLBT employees.  In today’s business climate, more and more employers are recognizing the benefits of a diverse workforce and are stepping up their GLBT recruiting efforts.

Echelon Set To Launch Gay Business Directory

Online business publication Echelon Magazine (www.echelonmagazine.com) has announced plans to launch a state of the art directory to list gay-owned and gay-friendly businesses in a format that reaches both online and mobile customers.

The online component, Echelon’s 2011 Gay Business Directory, is set to launch in January and will incorporate a host of advertising media options including videos, widgets, and flash ads.  Following shortly thereafter, Echelon will release a new iPhone app, “Go Gay Biz” that utilizes GPS technology to allow users to locate gay-owned and gay-friendly businesses on the go.

Companies listed in the Echelon 2011 Gay Business Directory will automatically be included in the “Go Gay Biz” app for a low flat annual rate initially.  Business owners can list their companies by visiting: www.echelonmagazine.com/index.php?topmenuitem=Directory

August/September Issue Of Echelon Magazine Released

Echelon Showcases Progressive’s Gay-Targeted Ad Campaign

The latest edition of Echelon magazine has been released, in which you can read an article written by yours truly on Progressive Insurance’s award-winning GLBT-targeted ad campaign.  You can access the magazine here (the Progressive article is on pages 24 and 25).

Echelon is an online gay magazine that publishes articles on GLBT finance, economic development, workplace advocacy, corporate diversity, education, employment and explores the ever evolving GLBT marketplace.
